Micro-Particulate Matte Complexes

Traditional hairsprays rely on liquid acrylic copolymers that dry as light-reflective films, creating a shiny appearance. Our matte hairspray relies on a dual polymer-solid system.

By introducing specialized hydro-phobic fumed silica and modified natural starch polymers, the liquid film scatters light randomly. We mill our silica using pressurized jet mills to guarantee 99% of particles fall below 3.5μm, preventing clumping and ensuring uniform dry distribution.

Dual-Phase Rheology Control

The inclusion of solid particles introduces physical suspension hazards. Without advanced rheological modifiers, these particles aggregate at the base of the container or inside the dip tube.

We implement custom-synthesized bentonite complexes and anti-settling agents that keep the formulation in a stable shear-thinning state. Upon agitation, the formulation flows like a liquid, converting back to a uniform gel structure when at rest.

Propellant Integration Engineering

Aerosol pressure must remain consistent from the first spray to the final drop. We utilize precise ratios of propane, butane, and dimethyl ether (DME) to maintain optimal vapor pressure.

Our formulations balance DME's solvent characteristics with hydrocarbon propellants to prevent the premature dissolution of the polymers, preserving the high structural integrity of the styling hold.
